"Think of the purest, most all-consuming love you can imagine. Now multiply that love by an infinite amount—that is the measure of God's love for you."God does not look on the outward appearance (see 1 Samuel 16:7). I believe that He doesn't care one bit if we live in a castle or a cottage, if we are handsome or homely, if we are famous or forgotten. Though we are incomplete, God loves us completely. Though we are imperfect, He love us perfectly, Though we may feel lost and without compass, God's love encompasses us completely." Dieter F. Uchtdorf

"Each family prayer, each episode of family scripture study, and each family home evening is a brushstroke on the canvas of our souls. No one event may appear to be very impressive or memorable. But just as the yellow and gold and brown strokes of paint complement each other and produce an impressive masterpiece, so our consistency in doing seemingly small things can lead to significant spiritual results." Life

I've really been slacking with writing in my blogs....

- Thanksgiving!
- Family. I love my family ssoooo much. I went home for Thanksgiving and spent 3 days with my family. I'm the second oldest out of 10 children. The youngest is 4. The little ones and I had a lot of fun together. We did some cleaning, cooking, setting up, ran 2 miles, watched movies, hung out with cousins, did a work out video together :) (It was pretty funny watching my younger siblings do a Taebo movie!!) BUT the reason why I'm so thankful for them would have to be...I was checking my e-mail 2 nights ago and I noticed an e-mail for one of my little sisters. It was titled "We Love you!" Che'lynn had gathered all of the little ones together and they wrote an e-mail to me about how much each one loved me and how important I mean to them. It was really touching. I know they love me but this was different! I love them all so much :)

- I'm grateful for the power of music. Music can help bring the Spirit around or drive him away. I've been more careful on what I listen to. I have noticed a difference.

- Reading. Good books are awesome.

- My roommates

- BYU Football game!! Sooo awesome!

- My calling. Employment Specialist.

- A warm house

- Food

- Blankets

- Pride and Prejudice

- Work

- Looking at life from a different perspective

- Freedom

- Good people. I've leaved over the weekend how corrupt Utah really is. It's in the top for child molesting and meth....and many other things... I'm grateful to all the people out there who treat others with the respect we all deserve.

- Horses!! I've really wanted to go riding the last little bit. It's been to long. Horses are such beautiful animals.

- Sense of humor.

- People who get my sense of humor :)

9/10/09

Here are a few quotes that I like...

Decisions Determine Destiny
“I can’t stress too strongly that decisions determine destiny. You can’t make eternal decisions without eternal consequences.” -Thomas S. Monson

Prepared through Adversity for Eternal Life
“With all the differences in our lives, we have at least one challenge in common. We all must deal with adversity. . . . It is in the nature of our being human that comfort gives way to distress, periods of good health come to an end, and misfortunes arrive. . . . The arrival of suffering or the loss of material security can bring fear and sometimes even anger. . . . “The very opportunity for us to face adversity and affliction is part of the evidence of [Heavenly Father and the Savior’s] infinite love. God gave us the gift of living in mortality so that we could be prepared to receive the greatest of all the gifts of God, which is eternal life.”- Henry B. Eyring

~Root Canal- I know this is a weird thing to be grateful for but I am. It's been the most pain I've been in in a long time. I like to think that I have a high tolerance for pain, but this has brought me to tears countless times. The dentist gave me a narcotic to help with the pain, but that did nothing... I've learned a lot from this small trial and I truly am grateful for it.

~A busy day at work :)

~Soft tacos and watching the Swan Princess in Spanish! Trisha and I did this last night. For some reason the songs seemed soooo much more romantic in Spanish than in English...funny... And I don't speak that much Spanish.

~Frozen green beans! I have had a bag of these up to my face pretty much 24/7 since Tuesday morning :)
